Des Linden to Defend her Rock 'n' Roll Philadelphia Half Marathon Title

David Monti of Race Results Weekly reports Des Linden will race the Rock 'n' Roll Philadelphia Half Marathon on Sept. 15.

Linden won the 2018 edition of the race, running 1:11:48 to beat Kellyn Taylor and Roberta Groner. They ran 1:12:06 and 1:12:20, respectively.

The Philadelphia race will come seven weeks before Linden is scheduled to race the New York City Marathon on Nov. 3.

This will be the fifth running of the Rock'n'Roll Philadelphia Half Marathon. The event record is held by Meseret Defar of Ethiopia. She ran 1:08:45 to win in 2017.
